Volunteering Opportunities

Have you ever felt the need to make an impact within our community, but aren’t sure where to begin?

Volunteering has a tremendous impact on the health of a community. Volunteering not only gives you a chance to get to know other people within your community who have the same concerns, but it also allows you to get to know your neighborhood better so you can see what is needed to keep your community healthy. Volunteers are the individuals giving up their valuable time to make a difference in their community, whether it be tutoring, painting a porch for an elderly neighbor or cleaning up your local streets. They are the individuals who lead the way to change and make a significant and powerful impact on the community. Change is not a one person job, but a community effort.

If you’re interested in volunteering to assist us in two of our targeted neighborhoods: Crownbrook and NEWPAC, please contact Erika Cooper, Community Building & Engagement Specialist at 203-753-1896 ext. 18 or email: ecooper@nhswaterbury.org
